The short version: use photos you have the right to use, of people who are OK with it. Subscriptions go through Apple. The drawings come from AI, so they can be imperfect.

The app

Photo Anime is made by Chris DeWeese (Modern Programming) and licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. These terms add a few plain rules. You need to be 13 or older to use it.

Your photos

• Only use photos you have the right to use, of people who are OK with being in your intro.
• Don't use Photo Anime for anything unlawful.

Subscriptions

• The Season Pass renews automatically through Apple until you cancel.
• Cancel anytime in Settings › your name › Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before it renews, to avoid the next charge.
• Refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.

AI drawings

The drawings are made by AI and can be imperfect: a likeness can be off, or a detail can look strange.

Your intros

Your intros are yours to share, as long as you respect the law and other people's rights.

No warranty

Photo Anime is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, Modern Programming isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Photo Anime in the 12 months before your claim.

Changes

If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
